Out of this World
My little lad has been fascinated by the BBC programme, Space Odyssey- A voyage to the planets.
I taped it for him and he watched it tonight and after he had seen it, out came the questions.
"Dad, is Titan a planet around Saturn."
"No lad, it's a moon."
"Why?"
"Because planets revolve around the sun, of which Saturn is one, and moons revolve around the planets, of which Titan is one."
"But Dad, Titan's got to be a planet."
"Why?"
"Because it was red on the television, not white."
I gave up at that point.
And if I keep eating the choccie biscuits and mince pies, my jeans will become Titun's.
