Hiya, It's me at last

I can't believe it's such a long time since I posted, last Febuary and here it is, Easter gone already.

The junior school panto was staged the other week, Jack and the Beanstalk. My lad was in the choir, not a starring role I'm afraid, but he enjoyed it, as my wife and I did. The only downside was having to sit on those small chairs they have for anything like this. My backside was aching afterwards.

Wev'e got about half the allotment dug now and Iv'e managed to plant maincrop and early potatoes, 200+ onion sets and a row of early peas. I've got cabbage, cauliflower, sprouts, kohl rabi and celeriac germinating in cells in the greenhouse and about 30 tomato plants just about ready to go out. Of course I will have to wait till it warms up a bit yet. I can't believe it snowed here a week before Easter. The daffodils have just flowered this last week in our garden, a month later than last year.

I'll try and post a bit more regular, but for now I'll leave you with a photo from one of my last years walks. A picture of a very old bridge on Marsden Moor.

Surely must be round the corner.
